Poster Design Notes
This is my ode to the school of learn-ed wizards, witches and magic with a scientific twist. I wanted this poster to feel like an aging tapestry or flag, one perhaps that would be hung form the walls of a biology room. The images are the type that would be found in a environmental journal or field guide around the turn of the last century. The scientific practicality of the sketches and the “latin” names of the animals is a nice juxtaposition to the world of magic and mystery that these animals represent. Gryffinium Dorus, Slythernius Serpentes, Huffeles Puffeles & Ravenus Clawdius.
